Group Opposing Museum Merger Will Meet

LAGUNA BEACH — The first public meeting of a new group opposing the planned merger of the Newport Harbor and Laguna art museums will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Laguna Beach City Hall, 505 Forest Ave. Motivated Museum Members is “preparing several strategies, including legal action” to block the merger, said artist and MMM organizer Fitz Maurice.
