Nine Apply for Open Seat on School Board
Trustees of the Anaheim City School District said this week that they expect to decide by April 23 which of nine candidates will fill an unexpired term on the Board of Education.
The candidates, interviewed by board members this week, are Ronald Banderas, Barbara C. Gonzalez, Thomas Holguin, Harald G. Martin, Susan Preus, Gregory R. Ramsay, Patrice P. Roggenkamp, Jerome M. Silverman and Avanda S. Williams.
The person appointed will serve the rest of the late Jeanne Blackwell’s four-year term, which expires in November.
