Pinnacle Hires Accountants

IRVINE — Pinnacle Micro Inc. said it has hired BDO Seidman as the company’s independent accounting firm.
Last month, Coopers & Lybrand quit as Pinnacle’s auditor over a disagreement with Pinnacle’s decision to record about $406,000 in engineering costs as assets rather than expenses.
Bill Blum, chief executive of Pinnacle Micro, said, “We are pleased to have this new accounting team on board, and look forward to a rapid conclusion of our 1995 year-end audit.”
