Jimmie B. Miller, 56, of Ventura, died Wednesday at a Ventura hospital.
Miller was born Aug. 19, 1939, in Indianapolis. He moved to Ventura County 33 years ago.
Miller, a master jeweler for 41 years, was the owner and operator of J. B. Miller--Diamond Consultant and a member of the Jewelers Guild of Santa Barbara.
Miller loved the ocean and was an avid scuba diver.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Miller of Ventura; his daughter, Laura Kirksey of Ventura; his son, Mitch Miller of Ventura, and six grandchildren.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home in Ventura.
