Man Shot Repeatedly, Dies on La Habra Street

LA HABRA — An unidentified man collapsed and died in the middle of an intersection early Saturday morning after he was shot multiple times, police said.
A La Habra police spokesman said that officers responded to “numerous” 911 calls from residents reporting several shots fired at the intersection of Grace Avenue and Cypress Street. When police arrived they found the victim lying in the intersection.
Paramedics were summoned but were unable to save the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests were made but homicide investigators were pursuing several leads later in the day.
