Pump Prices Fall: Gasoline prices nationwide dropped an average of 0.66 cent per gallon in the last three weeks, an oil industry analyst said. The drop is the first since mid-November, said Trilby Lundberg, publisher of Lundberg Survey. Motorists paid an average of 117.56 cents a gallon, including all grades and taxes, according to Friday’s survey of 10,000 gas stations nationwide. The Jan. 19 survey average was 118.22 cents. Lundberg said the drop was due to a decline in crude oil prices and stifled consumption in the East and Midwest because of extremely cold weather.
