Best and Worst
I’m going to Europe for the first time in June and--unlike my natural tendency to overorganize--I am trying to not overplan the trip. Nonetheless, I have been going through The Times’ Travel sections for some time in hopes of finding tidbits of information for my adventure. I enjoyed Christopher Reynolds’ “It Was the Best of Trips / It Was the Worst of Trips†(Dec. 31) more than anything else. Not only did it have the hoped-for tidbits, it also had the good attitude (prepared for--or at willing to deal with--unexpected travel-related occurrences) that I hope to emulate on my adventures. Thanks for the inspiration.
