Ice Dogs Punch Past the Ice, 6-3
Patrik Augusta scored two goals, had an assist and started a fight that included both goalies as the Ice Dogs defeated the Indianapolis Ice, 6-3, in front of an announced crowd of 3,579 at the Sports Arena Saturday.
The victory, coupled with a shootout loss by San Francisco, puts the Ice Dogs (25-20-7) three points ahead of San Francisco in third place of the International Hockey League’s Southwest Division.
Todd Gillingham scored once and had two assists for the Ice Dogs.
Brent Grieve scored twice for the Ice (27-20-5).
