Wednesday: A talk on the secret language of flowers by Shirley Kerins, 2:30 p.m., Huntington Botanical Gardens, 1151 Oxford Road, San Marino, (818) 405-2141. Admission: suggested $7.50, adults; $6, seniors; $4, students and children.

Saturday and Sunday: Pomona Valley Camellia Show, 1-6 p.m. Saturday, noon-4:30 p.m. Sunday, social hall of Church of the Brethren, 2175 Bonita Ave., La Verne, (909) 624-4107. Admission: free.
