. . . Huntington Beach fire dispatcher Steve Rothert said he was glad he had once attended natural childbirth classes.
After receiving a call from a 38-year-old Westminster woman in labor, Rothert coolly talked Ella Youngblood through the birth of her son after dispatching paramedics to the scene. Baby and mother were fine.
