Community Fair Planned at School
Parents can preview the math books their children may be using next year during a community fair Thursday.
The Simi Valley Unified School District will hold the fair from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Berylwood School Auditorium, 2300 Heywood St.
At the fair, parents can examine materials the district is considering adopting for classes from kindergarten through the sixth grade. A sampling of math activities and other work will also be on display.
Parents can also review math textbooks now used in grades seven through 12.
