SEASON AT A GLANCE: Jones, the Division V State player of the year as a junior, has picked up where he left off last season. A 6-foot-4 forward, Jones paces the Mounties, the defending Division V champion, with a 21.5 scoring average and 12.5 rebounding average. He also blocks a team-best 2.5 shots per game. Also among the top football players in the area as a receiver, Jones has scheduled recruiting trips to Northwestern, UCLA, Arizona and Colorado.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Jones averaged 22 points and 12 rebounds as Montclair Prep improved to 15-3 with four victories in five days. He capped the week by making 10 of 13 shots, scoring 27 points and grabbing 13 rebounds in a 67-64 nonleague upset of Hart.
