Bosnian Hurt in Collision With NATO Vehicle

SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina — A civilian driver was injured Wednesday when his car with a trailer plowed into a NATO convoy, forcing a military vehicle into a minefield, the alliance said.
No one in the four-vehicle convoy of British troops was hurt in the accident, which occurred in the Serb-held suburb of Ilidza.
“There was no hostility. It was generally accepted that this was an accident,” said Maj. Peter Bullock, a spokesman for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
The speeding car attempted to slow down and its trailer clipped a military truck before the car smashed head-on into a Land Rover. Bullock said the Land Rover left the road--ending up in a minefield that had, luckily, been marked.
