* Bill Boyarsky’s spin on Marcia Clark’s and Christopher Darden’s bonuses is right on! Even in the absence of our devastating county fiscal crisis, these bonuses were unnecessary, unwise and unwarranted.
Clark and Darden were doing their jobs just like all of the other assistant district attorneys. Many others before them have toiled just as hard in obscurity and most of them have remained in the D.A.’s office doing their jobs without a single extra dollar or kind word from the D.A.
