Voter-OKd Park Funds Shouldn’t Go to Dogs
* Re: $300,000 taken from the voter-approved park improvement funds to construct an off-leash park for dogs [“Sepulveda Basin Dog Park Planned,†Dec. 20].
Give me a break! I wonder how many people voting for park improvements realized that the funds could or would be used for a dog park. I, for one, protest. Some people in our city should reevaluate the needs of the people working and living in the Valley. There must be more worthy causes to spend $300,000 of our money!
