Countywide : County Water District Gets New President

George Osborne, former executive director of the Santa Ana Flood Protection Agency, has been elected president of the Orange County Water District.
Former Santa Ana Mayor Dan Griset was elected first vice president, and former Huntington Beach Mayor Wes Bannister was chosen second vice president.
Each of the three will serve a two-year term.
The water district maintains the county’s ground water basin. Board members oversee the district’s $80-million budget.
