Officials Identify Teen Hurt in Accident
A 16-year-old boy, who suffered serious head injuries Friday night when the car he was riding in hit a tree on Daily Drive in Camarillo, was identified on Sunday.
Paul Aggen was in critical condition in intensive care Sunday night at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, according to a nurses supervisor at the hospital.
Details are still sketchy, police said, but the youth was reportedly in a Ford Mustang traveling east on Daily Drive west of Carmen Drive at 10:30 p.m. when the car slid sideways, driver’s side first, into a tree. Police said a 17-year-old youth who was also in the car received less serious injuries. Police were unsure who was driving the Mustang. The cause of the accident has not been determined.
