Santa Ana Valley Stops Estancia

IRVINE — Ike Harmon and Olujimi Mann each scored 27 points to lead Santa Ana Valley past Estancia, 90-66, in a quarterfinal game of the Irvine World News boys’ basketball tournament Wednesday at Irvine High.
Harmon made 14 of 17 field-goal attempts and had 10 rebounds for Santa Ana Valley (4-3), which outscored previously unbeaten Estancia, 52-34, in the second half.
Mann, who also had eight assists, helped Santa Ana Valley take control in the second half when it outscored Estancia, 52-34.
Santa Ana Valley took advantage of the absence of Chris Candlish (24 points), who picked up his fourth foul early in the third quarter. Dane Plock had 21 points for Estancia (5-1).
