SIMI VALLEY : Man Arrested in Robbery at Store

Simi Valley police arrested a man Tuesday just three hours after he allegedly robbed a Circle K store with a BB gun.
Police allege that Dennis Patrick Shea, 40, of Simi Valley entered the convenience store on Royal Avenue and displayed a BB-type handgun. He demanded money from the register and fled with beer as well, police said.
Three hours later, a resident familiar with the suspect’s description called police to report that a similar man was eating at a Denny’s restaurant on Los Angeles Avenue.
Officers confronted Shea, then arrested him when they found a black BB gun in his possession, police said.
