Ice Dogs Rally to Beat Milwaukee, 5-4
Darci Martini scored twice and had an assist as the Ice Dogs beat the Milwaukee Admirals, 5-4, at the Sports Arena in front of an announced 5,384 Sunday.
It was the second consecutive night that the Ice Dogs beat the Admirals, who lead the IHL’s Midwest Division, but this one wasn’t easy.
Goalie Dave Littman, who shut out the Admirals (12-8-3) Saturday, was pulled at 11:24 of the first period with Milwaukee leading, 2-1.
The Ice Dogs came back and scored three goals in the second period and one early in the third.
Patrik Augusta had a goal and two assists and Jason Cirone and Viktor Gordiouk each scored for the Ice Dogs (14-9-2).
