AlaskaPass Available for ’96
AlaskaPass--the pass that allows tourists unlimited travel on participating ferries, buses and trains throughout Alaska and the Yukon Territory--marks its eighth season in 1996 with the addition of the Victoria Line ferry, which links Seattle and Victoria, British Columbia.
AlaskaPass, similar in concept to a rail pass, is available for travel ranging from eight days ($499) to 45 days ($949). In addition to the new Victoria Line, carriers include the Alaska Marine Highway ferries, BC Ferries, Greyhound Lines of Canada, Vancouver Island Coach Lines, Alaskon Express, Alaska Railroad, Norline Coaches (Yukon) and the White Pass and Yukon Railroad.
