Van Crash Hospitalizes 2 Women
Four pregnant women on their way to receive prenatal care at a Los Angeles medical center were injured Sunday in a car accident in Hancock Park, fire officials said.
Two of the women were hospitalized and remained in stable condition Sunday at Midway Hospital Medical Center. The others were treated at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in West Los Angeles and released.
Hospital officials declined to release their names.
According to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Bob Collis, the van in which they were riding collided with a car at 10:15 a.m. in the 600 block of South Highland Avenue.
