JC FOOTBALL ROUNDUP : Antelope Valley’s Rampage Swamps Victor Valley, 55-13
Jamel White and Idanre Anderson combined for five touchdowns to lead Antelope Valley College to a 55-13 pounding of Victor Valley in a Foothill Conference game Saturday night at Antelope Valley.
White scored three times and gained 82 yards in only five carries. Anderson scored twice and had 97 yards in 16 carries. The Marauders (3-5, 2-4) had 476 yards of offense, 407 on the ground.
The Marauders romped to a 27-0 lead in the first half and held the Rams (1-7, 0-6) to 29 yards at halftime.
Antelope Valley held Victor Valley to 146 yards in the game and forced two turnovers, including an interception by Heverlyn Corry.
