City employees will have a chance to take aim at their bosses today when City Manager Bill Smith, Police Chief James Cook and Finance Director Brian Mayhew become the targets in a “dunk tank” for charity.
The event was organized by city employees to raise money for the United Way. It is part of a lunchtime barbecue from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. near the clock tower at the Westminster Civic Center, 8200 Westminster Blvd.
Community members also may join in.
The lunch costs $2, and the dunk tank costs $1 a throw.
