Faith Baptist 60, Masada 14--Ryan Long scored five touchdowns to lead the host Contenders (1-5) in a nonleague game stopped in the fourth quarter because of the mercy rule.
L.A. Lutheran 68, Viewpoint 66 (OT)--Raul Ortiz scored on a two-yard run during a California tiebreaker, and Chris White added a two-point conversion run to give L.A. Lutheran (2-4, 1-2) a dramatic Heritage League victory over host Viewpoint (3-3, 1-2).
White rushed for 240 yards and six touchdowns in 39 carries. Peter Chizever of Viewpoint scored eight touchdowns.
