Motorist in Fatal Accident Identified
SANTA CLARITA — Authorities Monday identified a 39-year-old Los Angeles woman who was killed Saturday when her car plunged off the Antelope Valley Freeway.
Christie Torres was driving north when her car drifted toward the center of the freeway and she apparently overcorrected, said Officer Wendy Moore of the California Highway Patrol.
Torres’ car swerved to the right and plunged 150 feet down an embankment, Moore said. She died at the scene.
