Concert, Film Aimed at Young Audience
FULLERTON — Concert and radio organist John Ledwon will perform a program of contemporary music when he appears at 2 p.m. Sunday at Plummer Auditorium.
Designed to appeal to young audiences, the concert also will feature a vocal ensemble from the Fullerton Union High School Academy of the Arts, and the screening of a silent movie.
Ledwon, who recently returned from a tour of New Zealand and Australia, will play the school district’s restored and enhanced Wurtlizer theater pipe organ. The organ made its concert premiere in 1930.
Presenting the pops concert are the Orange County Theatre Organ Society and the Fullerton Joint Union High School District Educational Foundation.
Concert tickets are $8 for adults. Admission is free for children 12 and younger. Plummer Auditorium is on the Fullerton High School campus at Chapman Avenue and Lemon Street.
