Westside : Blues Club Gets Reprieve on Ruling

Hoping to end a conflict with the House of Blues nightclub, the West Hollywood City Council this week dismissed a Planning Commission ruling that declared the business a neighborhood nuisance.
Council members said that while the Sunset Boulevard club may have created problems when it opened 18 months ago, its operators have addressed most concerns about noise, parking and garbage. Among other things, club operators have enclosed a noisy outdoor dining deck and arranged for additional parking to keep cars off nearby streets.
