Schools : Education news : MISSION VIEJO : Financial Workshop to Fund Science Camp
A financial workshop is being offered at Bathgate Elementary School to raise money for a sixth-grade science camp.
The course will be from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday and on Oct. 18 and 25 in the multipurpose room at the school. All proceeds from the $49 fee will go toward helping students attend a science camp.
The financial workshop, presented by Primerica Financial Services, includes a 120-page workbook and a financial needs analysis to help participants save for a college education, plan for retirement, reduce taxes or stay out of debt.
The workshop is not sponsored by the school or the Capistrano Unified School District.
