Two Newcomers Survive Ducks’ Latest Moves
The Mighty Ducks trimmed their roster to within two players of the new 24-player limit Friday, with rookie center Chad Kilger and defenseman Oleg Mikulchik the only newcomers to survive the latest cut.
Forwards J.F. Jomphe and Alex Hicks were to sent to Baltimore, the club’s top minor league affiliate, along with defensemen Pavel Trnka and Darren Van Impe.

The Ducks and Kings will meet for the only time this exhibition season tonight at 7:30 at the Forum.
