Taiwan, Vietnam Accommodation Reported: The two nations have agreed to grant each other preferential trade treatment, known as most-favored-nation status, a Taiwanese newspaper reported. Taiwan Economics Minister Chiang Pin-kun reached the agreement with Vietnamese officials at a meeting Thursday, the United Daily News reported in a dispatch from Hanoi.
