REGION : Rail Linkup to W. Hollywood
City Connector Line 305, a new bus service suggested by local residents, began shuttling passengers last week between South-Central Los Angeles and West Hollywood.
The service, using standard buses painted purple, links West Hollywood with the Crenshaw district and the Vermont/Slauson, Broadway/Manchester and Watts/Willowbrook areas.
ATE Management/Ryder will operate the buses under a contract with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The buses will operate every 30 minutes from 6 to 9 a.m. and from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
