Bill Gates Does Long Beach: Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates and several other high-ranking executives at the world’s largest software firm are going on the road to promote Windows 95, the new version of Microsoft’s ubiquitous Windows operating system and the firm’s new on-line service, the Microsoft Network. The entourage will host the Microsoft Interactive Media Conference on Tuesday through Thursday at the Long Beach Convention Center. Sessions are designed to acquaint software developers, designers and business managers with the new features and potential business opportunities offered by the Microsoft software, due out later this summer.
