LAGUNA BEACH--The annual Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters runs through Aug. 28 at Irvine Bowl Park, 650 Laguna Canyon Road. The grounds are open 10 a.m.-11:30 p.m. daily. The pageant literally brings art to life at 8:30 nightly in tableaux vivants (living pictures) of classical and contemporary works. Grounds admission: $3, general; $2, seniors and students with ID. SAN LUIS OBISPO--The San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival celebrates its 25th anniversary, July 21-Aug. 6. This year’s festival features classical, opera and even jazz. Concerts, recitals, lectures and more are held at the Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa, Cal Poly Theatre, area wineries and other venues. Single tickets: $5-$32. Dinner packages available.
