Santa Clarita / Antelope Valley : Suspects Named in Shotgun Slaying
LANCASTER — Authorities on Wednesday identified two men suspected of the shotgun slaying of a 28-year-old Lancaster man outside his home last week.
Bryan Curtis Doucette, 24, of Lancaster, also known as “Buckshot,†and James Luis Garcia Jr., 26, of Lancaster, known as “Spider†or “Weasel,†shot John Fernandez Beatty Jr. outside his house during an argument on July 6, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Brian Jones.
Doucette and Garcia fled the scene, leaving the shotgun behind, Jones said, adding that they were identified by witnesses but remain at large.
Doucette was described as black, 6 foot 1, 220 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. Garcia was described as Latino, 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his arms, chest, back and the left side of his neck.
