THOUSAND OAKS : Space Available for Kids’ Cultural Tour
Children who want to take a cultural tour of Argentina, the Philippines and Italy this month can still sign up for the American Assn. of University Women’s Youth Cultural Program at the Arts Council Cultural Center in Thousand Oaks.
There is space available in the program, which introduces children in first through sixth grades to the culture and customs of a different foreign country each week.
The program costs $50 per week and runs from 9:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Starting on July 17, the students will learn about Argentina.
In succeeding weeks, the focus will shift to the Philippines and Italy.
