World IN BRIEF : FRANCE : Tourist Bus Crash Kills 18, Hurts 21

A Spanish tour bus filled with teen-age summer vacationers overturned on a highway near Avignon in southern France, killing at least 18 people and injuring 21 others, police said. Circumstances of the accident were not immediately clear and were under investigation, they said. The crash apparently involved no other vehicles, and the bus overturned on a straight stretch of road. Fifteen of the injuries were said to be serious. All the victims were reportedly teen-agers.
