MOORPARK : Vendors Accepted for Country Days

With Moorpark’s annual Country Days celebration 10 weeks away, vendors are encouraged to apply for a spot early.
The Moorpark Chamber of Commerce is accepting application from vendors for the daylong parade and festival set for Sept. 30.
Organizers said there is room for about 40 arts and crafts vendors and about 10 food booths.
Last year, more than 5,000 people showed up, said Carolyn Schrimpf, a spokeswoman for the chamber.
“Year after year the vendors come back,” Schrimpf said. “There are a lot of people who come out for this event.”
Although it is early, the Air National Guard band has already committed to performing in the parade, Schrimpf said. There will also be musical performances on two stages as well as an area for children with games and rides.
