A Gnawing Problem

The cute little “rock squirrels” along the promenade at Ventura Beach are being rapidly replaced by large rats that are brazenly enjoying the food that well-meaning animal lovers have been throwing for the squirrels. If it isn’t already, this situation will soon become a danger to sanitation and to beach-goers.
A blanket “no feeding” law should be imposed on the whole area and enforced vigorously.
