HUNTINGTON BEACH : Author of ‘Eva’s War’ to Speak at Luncheon

Author Eva Krutein will be the speaker for the Huntington Beach Friends of the Library luncheon Friday.
The 11:30 a.m. event will be at the Central Library, 7111 Talbert Ave.
Krutein is the author of “Eva’s War,” which describes her flight from the free state of Danzig, annexed by Nazi Germany in 1939, given to Poland after World War II and later occupied by Soviet forces.
She also wrote “Paradise Found and Lost,” about her family’s immigration to Chile in 1951 before settling in the United States. The Irvine resident is now working on her third book, “Americka-America.”
