Associated Press
SAIPAN, Northern Mariana Islands — Authorities Tuesday called off the search for the body of Larry Hillblom, the DHL Worldwide Express founder apparently killed when his small plane crashed.
Hillblom, a Saipan government official and their pilot were believed killed when their plane crashed in bad weather Sunday on a flight from Saipan to Pagan Island in the western Pacific.
The pilot’s body initially was identified as Hillblom’s, but an autopsy revealed the mistake Tuesday, said Dean Christon, spokesman for Redwood City, Calif.-based DHL.
