Three Oxnard gang members were arrested Sunday night after police found a loaded handgun in their car.
The three teen-agers were reportedly involved in a fight Friday night when one of them brandished a gun from a car, an Oxnard Police Department spokesman said.
On Sunday, a witness to the fight spotted the car about 10 p.m. and called police.
Police found the car and the youths at a gasoline station at Laurel Street and Saviers Road.
A search of the car turned up a .38 caliber semi-automatic handgun with its serial numbers filed off.
Two 17-year-old youths and a 15-year-old were booked into Juvenile Hall for possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle and possession of a firearm with the serial number removed. A fourth teen-ager in the car was not arrested.
