NEWPORT BEACH : Sign-Ups for Summer Camp Set for Saturday

Registration for the city’s summer day camp programs will be Saturday.
Sports camps will include sailing, tennis, golf, horseback riding, water sports, and sessions teaching the basics of soccer, basketball and baseball. Arts opportunities include a musical theater workshop, art camps for 3- to 15-year-olds and other music, art, dance and drama classes.
All camps begin June 26. Camp directors will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday to answer questions about specific camps. The event is at the Community Youth Center, 5th Street and Iris Avenue, in Corona del Mar.
Parents may also register their children in the community services office at Newport Beach City Hall, 3300 Newport Blvd.
