Motorcyclist Killed by Crash Into Pole

HUNTINGTON BEACH — A 35-year-old man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a Southern Pacific Railroad pole, police said Saturday.
Kevin James McLaughlin of Huntington Beach was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred about 10:43 p.m. Friday near McFadden Avenue and Huntington Village Lane, authorities said.
