South Gate 3, Westchester 0--South Gate High pitcher Yvonne Arizaga tossed a no-hitter as the Rams (15-4) advanced to the semifinals of the City Section 3-A Division playoffs. South Gate beat North Hollywood, 9-4, in the first round.

Garfield 6, Gardena 1--Vanessa Carbajal’s first-inning home run sparked the Bulldogs (16-3). In the first round, Garfield defeated University, 15-1.

Roosevelt 5, Lincoln 4--Pitcher Denise Beltran won her seventh consecutive game.

Westchester 10, Fremont 6--Fremont pitcher Shatana Smith, went 3 for 4, including a two-run homerun.
