Give Harrick, Bruins Some Time to Enjoy It

Can we please lay off Coach Harrick? After seven years of pressuring him to win a national championship, less than a week after he does, we’re pressuring him to win another? UCLA dynasty? Impossible due to the parity in college basketball today. I wish Coach Harrick all the success in the world next year, but I will not ask him to hang another banner. All I ask is that he be a more gracious defending champion than his predecessor, Nolan Richardson.

On this day of Passover, let us give thanks to Jim Harrick and his Bruins, who, without Tyus’ mighty right hand, but with Ed’s outstretched arm, brought us from sorrow to joy, from mourning to festivity, from darkness to great light and from bondage to redemption.
