*** Christopher Williams, “Not a Perfect Man,” Giant. Williams’ musical niche is smoothly romantic, old-school R&B.; Like Teddy Pendergrass and Barry White before him, Williams--a nephew of jazz great Ella Fitzgerald--aims his music squarely at the hearts of female fans. He’s a ‘90s love icon--sensitive, but without the wimp factor.
New albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good) and four stars (excellent).
