Board Has Failed to Explain Concerns

* The Ventura County school board’s decision to ban Planned Parenthood and AIDS Care is both frustrating and frightening. It does not appear to be an intelligent, well thought out position; rather it appears to be based on personal prejudice and innuendo.
The board majority has made no attempt to educate themselves about the individual programs, nor elucidate to us all precisely just what is in question or inappropriate.
The board has yet to provide a tangible list to which these groups may logically respond. They have not attempted to meet with these groups to air any concerns. How may these education groups problem-solve, if the board refuses to intelligently state its position and concerns?
