Another Stereotype Fades

Two thumbs up and a hip-hip-hurrah! to your article on Russell Wong (“A Heroic Leading Role for One Asian ‘Son,’ � Calendar, March 25.) As one of many Asian American teen-agers living in the South Bay today, I am constantly bombarded by stereotypical images of Asian Americans. It’s wonderful that the hot, young, and sexy Russell Wong is dissolving past images of Asian men as being computer nerds.
