Fullerton College Jazz
I would like to commend you on the informative articles about the Vietnamese community in Orange County. The series rightly pointed out the wealth of talent this community provides to Southern California. However, in the article “Orange County: Nashville of Vietnamese Music Scene,†(Calendar, March 14) Vu Tuan Duc was misquoted when you listed Cal State Fullerton as the college where he studied jazz. Fullerton College is proud to have been part of Tuan Duc’s musical training. Fullerton College is the oldest community college in the state. For the sake of our faculty, the communities we serve, our alumni and current students, please give our college the credit it deserves.
